TL;DR — performance marketing coach pricing in India (2026)
  • 💰 1:1 strategy call (60 min): ₹3,000–₹15,000
  • 👥 Cohort / group program (4-8 weeks): ₹20,000–₹75,000
  • 📅 Monthly 1:1 retainer: ₹25,000–₹1,50,000/month
  • 🏢 Fractional / embedded: ₹2L–₹5L/month

The honest answer: it ranges from ₹3,000 for a single 45-minute call to ₹1,50,000 per monthfor a senior retainer. Here's what each tier looks like, what it actually includes, and how to pick the right spend for your stage.

The four pricing tiers in India (2026)

TierTypical price (INR)Best for
One-off 1:1 call (45–60 min)₹3,000 – ₹15,000One burning question, one broken campaign
Cohort (4–8 weeks, group of 8–15)₹20,000 – ₹75,000Founders who want peer accountability + frameworks
Monthly retainer (1:1)₹25,000 – ₹1,50,000/moSpending ₹2L+/month on ads, need ongoing advisory
Fractional / embedded₹2L – ₹5L/moSeries A+ companies treating the coach as an extended team

What drives the price

Three things move the needle on what a performance marketing coach can charge in India:

  1. Managed ad spend history. A coach who has managed ₹10Cr+ can defensibly charge 3–5× what a coach with ₹1Cr in experience can. This is the single biggest lever.
  2. Public proof. Case studies with named clients, measurable outcomes, and before/after metrics 2–3× the rate.
  3. Delivery mode. Async-only (Loom reviews, written feedback) is usually 30–40% cheaper than 1:1 live. Live calls are where the rate goes up.

What 40,000/month actually buys

If you're looking at a ₹40,000/month retainer, a well-built program includes:

  • 2 × 60-minute live strategy calls per month (not "when available" — scheduled)
  • Weekly async ad-account review via Loom — the coach walks through your live Meta / Google / LinkedIn dashboard and calls out what's working and what's leaking
  • Unlimited WhatsApp / email access with a 24-hour response SLA
  • Campaign brief + creative brief templates (reusable assets)
  • Monthly funnel-economics review — AOV, CAC, LTV, contribution margin

If your prospective coach's ₹40k/mo package doesn't include async review of your live account, the real per-call rate is closer to ₹20,000. You can pay them the call rate directly and skip the retainer.

How to pick the right tier

  • Ad spend under ₹50k/month: start with a course, not a coach. Coaching won't move the needle enough at this stage to justify the rate.
  • ₹50k–₹2L/month: one-off 1:1 call or a cohort. A single ₹8,000 call with a good operator will unlock 80% of what you need.
  • ₹2L–₹10L/month: monthly 1:1 retainer. You need someone on call every week.
  • ₹10L+/month: consider a fractional engagement or bring someone in-house part-time. A pure coach isn't enough.

What you should never pay for

  • A coach who won't open your live ad account on the call. That's consulting, not coaching.
  • Retainers with no async review. That's two expensive calls a month.
  • "Guaranteed ROAS" packages. No honest operator makes that promise.
  • Mandatory 12-month commitments. Month-to-month is the industry standard; rolling 3-month minimums are fine, longer is a red flag.
